Our Reading Academy provides fast track beauty training in a central location that is easy to reach by public transport. The facilities are spacious & bright, having been newly refurbished upon relocating in 2026.
Reading Station is just a 14 minute walk & major bus connections can be found at the Oracle 8 minutes walk away from the centre.
Our ABT accredited diploma and VTCT beauty, holistic, nail and make-up courses in Reading are run at our well-equipped beauty school located on London Street set in a well connected, vibrant part of this university town.
With two spacious training rooms & class sizes kept small (typically 6-12 students), you are assured of a high quality training experience from our friendly, knowledgeable beauty tutors!

FACILITIES
We have both a larger central beauty / make up / holistic course training room & a separate nail training room, making this a spacious location to learn at. Facilities are clean, bright & newly refurbished.
Highly equipped to deliver our accredited beauty courses all year round.
For convenience & comfort, we have private toilet facilities along with a kitchen area for break times at the centre.
PARKING
There is no parking directly on-site due to the central location of this training centre, however there are several car parks locally, within a short walk of the centre. Suggested parking options:
- The Riverside car park, The Oracle (shopping centre), Mill Ln, Reading RG1 2AG has 1611 spaces, charged at £13.50 for up to 8 hours and is 0.3 miles (8 minutes walk) from the centre.
- Queens Road car park, Queens Road, Reading RG1 4PX (satnav RG1 4AR) has 700 spaces, charged at £16.70 for up to 24 hours parking and is 0.4 miles (7 minutes walk) from the centre.
There are limited 3-hour only parking bays along London Road for those being dropped off or picked up by car or taxi.
Given the central location, we recommend travelling by public transport.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Bus routes stop at the Oracle shopping centre (8 minutes walk) & at Minster Street station (a 2-minute walk away). Most services run regularly throughout the day. Key routes include:
- Great Western Railway bus service
- Thames Valley routes: 4A, 850, RA1
The centre is just a 14 minute walk (1.2 miles) from Reading Station.
- Once you arrive at the station, follow signs for town centre, along Forbury Road.
- Turn right into Blagrave Street, walking along past the Reading Museum & Town Hall Square, with St Laurence’s church on your left.
- Continue along Market Place until it meets High Street. Cross the Kings Road onto Duke Street & over the River Kennet as it becomes London Street.
- Cross over Queens Road, continuing on London Street passing South Street on your left & Church Street on your right, until you come across our entrance at 99 London Street.
