As a self taught nail technician, Dannika was fast becoming well known for the high standard of her treatments. In 2018, Dannika wanted to take her nail career further and enrolled for online nail training with The Beauty Academy; recognising the importance of holding professional certification. Studying through our comprehensive online student portal, guided by video tutorials, training manuals and with assessed case studies; the standard of Dannika’s work stood out for her creativity and attention to detail. Achieving her certificate in 2018, Dannika launched a hugely successful nail technician business: Danika Bernadette – Nail Artist working within leading salon Avenue One based in Dunfermline.
She has been highlighted in a number of competitions including finalist for Nail Technician of the Year in The Scottish Nail Brow Lashes Awards 2023, Best Nail Artist for the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards 2019 and Creative Nail Technician of The Year in the Scottish Hair & Beauty Awards 2018.
