Pre-Course Reading:
To help you get the most from your training, please take time to read through the pre-course reading attached to this email.
You do not need to print this information. It will be recapped verbally on the training day.
Enrolment Form:
An enrolment form must be completed. This is attached to this email. Please print (where possible), complete and hand to your tutor on the training day. If unable to print, please request a copy from the tutor on arrival at the training centre.
Patch Test Form:
Selected courses require a patch test be completed 24 hours before the course: Highly Defined Brows, Brow Lamination & Lash Lift courses only.
If applicable, you’ll be sent a patch test kit by post & requested to complete the patch test form (attached to this email). Hand the form to your tutor on arrival at the centre. If unable to print the form, complete your patch test using the products then request a copy of the form to record your patch test result, from your tutor on arrival at the centre.
Those booking at last minute who won’t receive a patch test kit or for those found to be potentially allergic to products, still attend your course as the tutor has ways to work around this safely, so you can still learn all aspects of the treatments.
Information for on the course day:
What to bring:
You will need to bring cold food (salad / sandwich for lunch).
Selected courses require you to bring clean towels for your use while receiving treatments during training. This is required for: Manicure & Pedicure course, all Massage courses, all Waxing courses & all Facial Skincare courses.
Products & tools will be provided for your use at the centre. If completing a patch test (selected courses only), please bring remaining product for use on the day.
No models required.
Please leave unnecessary valuables such as jewellery at home.
What to wear:
Clean, smart-casual clothing is fine such as short sleeved t-shirt and trousers. If you have a beauty tunic, you may wear this.
Shoes must be flat soled with covered toes and heels. Clean trainers are fine to be worn.
Lash extensions (if worn) must be removed prior to course for these courses only: lash lift & tinting, facial skincare, all make up courses.
Nail extensions / gel polish (if worn) must be removed prior to course for these courses only: manicure & pedicure, gel polish & any courses where long nails will affect your ability to practice safely such as all massage and facial skincare courses.
During training:
Students will be required to fully participate in courses, to include practical work.
You will give and receive treatments on all training courses, except the following which are completed on professional training hand / head as applicable: all lash extensions courses & all nail extensions courses only.

It is very important that you familiarise yourself with our Student Code of Conduct which can be found in our T&Cs. We aim to provide everyone with an inclusive, positive learning experience and poor conduct will not be tolerated.
After your training:
Diploma:
Upon successful completion of your training day, your diploma will be sent to you by email within 24 working hours. Do ensure you check junk / spam mail if you cannot see this in your inbox.

Insurance:
Once you’ve received your diploma, you can purchase beauty treatments (public liability) insurance to allow you to begin working with paying clients.
